Two days full of games! DE:HIVE presents projects from research, studies and transfer. Apart from current games projects including board games, video games and VR experiences, you can meet and talk with students, researchers and young entrepreneurs.

Student work and projects
Game Design students from the Bachelor's and Master's programmes show their semester works and current game projects ranging from character models (maquettes), board and video games to VR experiences. The students are looking forward to numerous playtestings with you!
Düppel:3D - Digital discovery of the Middle Ages
Düppel:3D explores the digitisation of cultural heritage objects and knowledge transfer with virtual reality and game technology in the form of an interactive 3D experience: How to digitally discover and experience the landscape and culture of the Middle Ages? The exhibition shows insights in the photogrammetric recording of interiors, environments and artefacts of the Düppel Museum Village.

Questions and answers about the Bachelor's programme GAME DESIGN
Are you interested in studying GAME DESIGN in the Bachelor's programme? The Game Design degree programme requires conceptual and creative talent, which you can demonstrate in the aptitude test. Among other things, you will work on a homework assignment, for which the topic will be announced at an information event during the HIVE FIVE.

AI:PLAY - What can AI do?
AI:PLAY is an experimental space within the framework of the AI Learning Workshop KI Lernwerkstatt(KI_WI) project. We explore the possibilities and chances of artificial intelligence for game making. What role will AI play in processes of creating games and how does it change the way we play? As AI opens up new workflows and interfaces to the digital world. Our aim is to find and share sustainable and ethical ways of interaction with this technology.
