Questions and answers about the Bachelor's programme GAME DESIGN
Are you interested in studying GAME DESIGN in the Bachelor's programme? The Game Design degree programme requires conceptual and creative talent, which you can demonstrate in the aptitude test. Among other things, you will work on a homework assignment, for which the topic will be announced at an information event during the HIVE FIVE.

Game Design students from the Bachelor's and Master's programmes show their semester works and current game projects ranging from character models (maquettes), board and video games to VR experiences. The students are looking forward to numerous playtestings with you!

Portfolio feedback 2026
The new topic for the 2026 aptitude test is CHAIN <location> <time>
The aptitude test to apply for a study place in Game Design requires all applicants to work individually on a homework assignment. This year, we are again offering events for portfolio feedback.
At these events for information and portfolio feedbacks, prospective students can present their portfolios for application to the program and get tips from professors and students. In addition, interested students not only receive all important information (e.g. about the curriculum) and an insight into the study program (including student work and games, rooms, technical equipment), but also the opportunity to talk personally with students, lecturers and professors of the study program. In this context, many personal questions about the application process or the course of studies are often clarified.

How it works:
On-site, you'll sign up on one of two lists with limited spots.
People on the feedback list will receive consultations one by one.
The first list becomes available at 10:00 AM, the second at 2:00 PM.
