HIVE FIVE - 31.01.2020

GAME DESIGN - OPEN HOUSE

For HIVE FIVE we invite all game enthusiasts and curious people who want to get to know the students' projects and gain insights into the techniques and methods of game making and the study of GAME DESIGN. In our exhibition, more than 20 project works will be presented, waiting to be played and tested extensively. The student developers of the games are looking forward to discussions, exchange and your feedback.

Admission is free, guided tours are offered free of charge. Seat reservations for the info events are not necessary.

HIVE FIVE is an all-day open house exhibition with an accompanying programme for prospective students, company employees, alumni and friends of the GAME DESIGN degree programme. There will be the opportunity for playtesting and public playing as well as an exclusive tour of the newly designed studio rooms. One room invites you to join in. Here, interested people can watch, ask questions or try it out for themselves: planning, modelling, programming and designing.

Pupils are also cordially invited on this day for career orientation as well as study advice and to gain an insight into the future of games. The spectrum ranges from classic video games to mobile games and "digital toys". In addition to information about the Game Design degree programme at HTW Berlin, students can find out what interesting careers there are in the games industry.

We also offer the opportunity to talk to students about their studies and to get first-hand information about starting a career in the industry.
